Most people need an external stimulus to get things done–for example, needing an alarm clock to get out of bed. These stimuli can push you out of your comfort zone and help you accomplish things. However, sometimes they push you into a discomfort zone, and can actually hurt your ability to get work done. It’s important when this happens to take a step back and figure out if there is another way you can push yourself that will fix your discomfort zone.
